FedEx announced the launch of a new "FedEx PriorityCustomization Service" in Chinese Mainland, which is applicable togoods exported from Chinese Mainland to the world and imported fromthe United States and major Asian countries. This service is mainlyaimed at industries that require high monitoring of temperaturecontrol, cargo safety, and transportation processes, such ashigh-tech products, healthcare products, high-value goods, andemergency supply chain management in the manufacturingindustry.
FedE China President Chen Jialiang said, "The 'FedEx PriorityCustomization Service' reflects FedEx's commitment to providinginnovative solutions for important customer shipments. This servicewill design specific solutions based on customer needs, providefull process management of goods, and give customers greaterconfidence in the transportation process."
The FedEx Priority Customization Service covers the entirecountry and is jointly operated by FedEx and two teams. Thisservice utilizes FedEx's global transportation network andcustomized value-added services to develop door-to-doortransportation routes for customer goods, as well as completetransportation management and coordination services. Its mainfeatures are:
Design specific solutions and transportation routes based oncustomer needs using FedEx network and own flights
Enjoy priority processing and boarding privileges on FedEx cargoplanes when using dedicated vehicles to pick up and dispatchgoods
Provide weekend and holiday delivery
Provide 24-hour cargo management throughout the year, includingproactive continuous monitoring throughout the entiretransportation process and providing near real-time updates
After the goods arrive at the destination, conduct a goods auditto ensure that all operations match the design in the initialsolution, and retain audit tracking records. Submit correspondingdocuments and information in accordance with regulatoryrequirements
For goods that require temperature control, various temperaturecontrolled air freight container solutions can be provided, as wellas temperature data and quality support
The professional team provides year-round support, such asproviding advice on packaging, customs and regulatory requirements,and security measures.
